I got some on the blade of my pocket knife and it ended up as black as could 
be. Dipped the whole blade after that and sharpened it again.  Looks strange 
with a black blade and a shiny edge and it doesn't seem to rust as fast. Not 
entirely sure about that, but it does look cool.
