I know little about the suitability of Indium as
a mirror but we did use it as the 'gasket' material
to seal up star trackers. It is a very soft metal
and might not be very sleek/scratch resistant as
a mirror coating. As a gasket it was good because
it did not deteriorate over time/temp exposure.
