Re: ATM time to order
Hey Bill here's the low down. 1 I've heard that there are shipping problems
where people have ordered and received odd sizes and not so true parallels
of the two flat surface. 2 it is layered material if you would grind threw
the first layer the whole thing would be scrap. 3 on pregenerated blanks
they claim to pre generate at an f/5 and they are untrue to specs. 4 that if
you don't have enough support points on your mirror cell the mirror could
flex (because of how soft the material is 5 and finally they couldn't even
compare the density of the material to me against Pyrex or even plate glass,
and that seems odd to me. So in conclusion when I'm on your first mirror I
don't need that many strikes against me.
