You might be surprised how many of us have broken mirrors over the
years.  It comes with the territory.  You pick yourself up, learn from
what went wrong, and continue.

So finish the mirror - use it in 8% better skies if you wish.  You will
never be able to tell at the eyepiece that 8% of the glass is missing.
Remember that the secondary acts as a giant gouge in the center of the
mirror.
