ATM OT: Light streak in the sky

Friday night at about 21:25 local time I saw a dim yellow/orange object
cut across the Monteal skyin a north to south direction. It took about 2
to 3 seconds to cover the 45 degrees from when I noticed it untill it
was no longer visible.
The speed was substantially slower than any meteors that I have ever
seen.
Was this a very late Iridium flare? The brightness and size was larger
than any satellites that I have seen in the past.
And no, it was not an aircraft. Twenty years of working on and with
birds I know what they look like in all conditions.
