Re: ATM aerial camera lens
Aerial camera lenses of this design are intended to be used with a strong
yello or red filter. Without a filter the chromatic aberrations are
horrible!! I made a telescope from one of these lenses many years ago and
today it sits in a box, unused. The actuall aperture is FL/f number.
36"/8=4.5", not the front element diameter. There are two controls for the
shutter, one to set the springs and one to fire the shutter.
