Yes. I have one in my F2 and found it to be brighter (although not
profoundly so), than the stock screen. It was a worthwhile and easy
upgrade that will likely ease and improve your focusing on brighter objects.
Frankly, the best focusing results (IMHO) are done with a dead camera body
of the type you will use (F2 body with back removed in your case) and a
knife edge, then switch to the film carrying F2 and do your imaging.
In those instances where no star is available in the field you are
photographing, simply use the nearest star of sufficient magnitude, focus,
then move the scope to the desired object, compose shot and "click"!
