Hi,

I would have thought that being brass, you could get them electroplated with chromium. It 
would be my best guess as to how they put that rhodium on too. Try asking some 
electroplaters. There might be a reason why only rhodium will do. If chrome will be okay, 
with rhodium being so expensive, you might find someone who will do free it for the 
opportunity to reclaim the rhodium!
