Re: ATM Orion Mount - Off Topic




Not far off topic, and since I have used the mount, I would say it compares
favorably with its popularly-branded predecessors, a nice feature being the
included polar axis finder. The company markets a dual axis motor setup by
another manufacturer, however, which in my opinion would be necessary in
order to do any serious imaging work. The stock single-drive motor is
rudimentary.
