I have been using a "dry" silicone spray lubricant.  When I use it, the 
surface does not look wet or greasy, but it is very slick.  With half the 
people recommending Armorall, and half warning against Armorall because it 
may gum up or collect dirt, I decided experimentation was in order.  Dry 
silicone spray works well for me, and does not attract dirt.
