I've decided I need a dew shield/ stray light blocking device. I decided to make a "tube extender" for my square box Berry-designed 6" scope. Are their any suggestions as to how to procede? I was thinking that I could use some ripstop black nylon reinforced with wood slats useing a velco device to attach it to the tube. Any opinions?

Also I was planning on putting velvet on the inside of my tube. Is there any super special velvet if so, how does it compare to "normal" (The stuff you get at a fabric store) velvet. I have sooo much stray light from my neighbors it's crazy. Looking for suggestions.
