ATM News from Israel
Hello all!
Some news from Israel.
I'm now an official member of the Israeli Astronomy Association, and
I've got all of my astronomical year spread and ready for me (I got
the 99' almanac in hebrew, since I'm a member of the association).
My telescope's finishing is delayed day after day, since I can't find
the time to find the right spot to connect my spider. Just some
patience, time & no clouds, and I'll declare the name of the telescope
and it's first light!
Some friends from my class really wanted to view with me some nice
astronomical events, like Meteor showers, Moon eclipse, and the far
11th August sun eclipse. I like that interest in astronomy!
I've done the first part of the Astrophysics Olympiad for youth. I was
the youngest in the contest(I'm only 13, and the ages range from 14 to
16), but I still have chance to go to the next level. If I WILL go, I
should be proud... I got 17 questions out of 21, but one of them I'm
not sure: Was most of the helium that we know there is in space was
created in the first 3 minutes of the big bang, or for billions of
years in the cores of stars?
Well, that's all, I'm leaving to an astronomy chat room now, bye!
Asaf.
