ATM refractor focuser help

Hi folks!

I've collected most of what I need to start working on my 4.5 inch refractor.
However, I'm stuck on what to use as a focuser. I've read the archives and have
found that Newt focusers may be used. Is there a problem using this type? I
can't seen to find a supplier that sells refractor (flat base) focusers .  Any
suggestions as to how I can mount  the focuser to the tube, as well as a good
(workable) material ?
