I know this sounds terrible, but I assume an indistinguishable from perfect
secondary.  The reason I say this is that I have swapped diagonals quite a bit over
the years (on several of my scopes I had quick change self-collimating diagonal
mounts) and rarely rarely ever found that the diagonal influenced the star test
pattern even at the highest powers.
