[OT] S&T - ATM, crazy idea

Sorry for this thread but:

Why not have the list owners, (Mel, Andy et. al.) use S&T as a way of printing
the best of the list each year?

They/we could pick the several of the coolest things that happened in ATM.  Then
we could write the draft on or off the list then submit it to S&T.  I'd pick
threads at different levels and with different general topics, i.e:
  entry level mirror grinding -
  entry level scope design (secondary size selection)
  advanced scope design (minimalist), 
  or whatever

They could do at least one ATM issue a year - with input from the list.

This does require someone to be the "writer of the list."
