ATM [OT] Y2K Dos for you computerized dob users.

Sorry to bring up Y2K, I just noticed this:

If you are using an old laptop or PC whose bios is can't handle y2k then you
might want to check www.caldera.com.  They have a new version of DR DOS that
claims to make the dates work no matter how the bios deals with the year 2000
issuses.

Last I checked Microsoft had said "upgrade" to win95/98 to fix the dos problems
(like I can do that on my 1 Meg 386).


Lastly:  I got a spam that predicted Y2K "the power grid would fail...
electricity could be off... for years..."   COOL!!!!   I don't believe it (not
one bit)  BUT  I can tell you exactly where I'll be at five minutes to midnight:

In my front yard with my new hand-made 10" dob say'n "come on Y2K!!!"

And if the lights do go out then I'll be yell'n for everyone to look at the
stars and notice how lousy there damn lights were.
