ATM demise ??

   Before discovering this list I had purchased a high end 5 1/2" 
refractor, ( only scope at time) which gave/gives me much pleasure. Since 
discovering this list i have completed an 8" f/8  dob and can now say 
that my hobby has been enriched ten fold as a result. Only thoose who 
have made their own telescope can understand this.                        
                         

   I plan to construct larger, better scopes yet and if i can comfortably 
afford a bigger high end scope, i will do that too, but if i cant do 
that, at least i have experienced this hobby's greatest gift, which no 
amount of $ can secure and of which this list has contributed vastly.

    
   Weither ATMing is becomeing less popular with others or not doesn't 
cause me to feel insecure  or less enthuisastic about my intrest in it. 
If my intrest wains in time, then so be it. Right now im haveing lots of 
fun.
