Are you more interested in the aesthetic qualities of the mirror or the views
using it? Deep pondering of this question will guide further action and allow
your mind to transcend this earthly state of woeful imperfection.
Unfortunately, no matter what you do, the mirror will always be stuck in the
material world. A misplaced atom here or there. Perfect mirrors take a very,
very long time to finish.
I have convinced myself that even a few large ugly scratches have no material
effect on the contrast or other performance characteristics of a mirror.
Others may violently disagree.
