ATM My first major mistake

My brother objected vehemently to the old bucket for washing off the
grit, so I now use a much smaller rectangular trash can. This means that
the grit comes off less easily, so I rinsed the mirror in the sink.
Shaking it to dry it off (I can hear you all cringing already), it
banged against the sink. Nothing actually chipped, but there appears to
be a small crack inside the glass just below the surface. I immedately
beveled that edge to about twice the amount of the rest of the mirror.
So...is that enough? Do I just pray now that nothing happens? I'm still
using the Chordal Stroke w/ 80 Carbo.

My mirror might start to look like my trumpet if I put too many more
dings in it :)
