Re: ATMJ help

My problem is not too much TV--it is a variation on another old saying--"so many
hobbies, so little time!" I enjoy flying, astronomy, photography, scuba, cobbling
together computer systems, skydiving, ham radio, guns, music, etc. In my spare
time I try to keep up with two kids, date( at age 59 that is a bit of a challenge
itself ) and earn enough money to finance the hobbies. Having said all that, I'd
like to attempt an 8" or 10" dob as a first scope ( I already have a commercial
10" SC for photos and an 18" Obsession for visual-which I'd like to set up to
track-I understand from Mel that is like adding 40% to mirror size ). Are there
any ATMers in the Dallas area?--I have been lurking and have learned a lot but
would like to visit with some local folks who know what they are doing.

Clear skies, Andy K5VM
