ATM placement of a secondary mirror
I have a quick question concern attaching a secondary to the
mirror's holder. I'm attaching a 1.00 minor axis mirror. The glass
is an 45 degree eliptical flat. It has a thickness of approximately
.25". Looking at the reflection of the glass you can see a bit on the
underside that isn't coated. The coating is offset (I think this is the
correct term) because of it geometry, how should i place the mirror? Does
it make a difference if the 45 degree uncoated edge is located closer to the
focuser or further away from the focuser? I hope I explained my situation
clearly. Thanks.
