The following URL is a great place to identify IC chips:

But even better, there is a very active email list associated
with this site that is open to anyone for posting.  The people
on that list are ALMOST ;^) as helpful as those on our dear ATM 
list.  They frequently identify and provide datasheets for 
outdated and obsolete electronic devices.
