I want to second Jeff Medkeff's suggestion about using interlibrary
loan. You can get virtually any book, in or out of print, by ILL.

Please remember that ILL costs the receiving library about $20, so be
judicious with your requests. I use it fairly often, but only for out of
print books that I can't buy at a reasonable price. (And now, through
the web, out of print books are becoming fairly easy to find.)
