ATM Slitless tester question

Thank you, I'm convinced that the slitless tester is the way to go. After much
study in the archives; I think this is the most popular and useful way to go. I
do; however, have a question for those who have made one of these.  I've studied
Berthold Hamburger's web page and his slitless tester (I'll will most likely
model mine like this) My question is this: Looking at the image of the sight
hole, it appears to be tapered, is this correct? If so, what should the diameter
be for each opening?
I didn't notice much discussion of this in the archives.
