Ohhh, I can't imagine using turpentine, or Kerosene, which was also used
in the 'old' days. Duck.......incomming!!
In my shop, where we run diamond blades on our big lapidary saws for
cutting big blocks of glass, on smaller vertical mills set up as cutoff
saws, running 5" to 10" diameter blades, ID saws with blades .015" thick
cutting silicon, to our coring operation, boring out cores from .100" to
3", we use commercial coolants, water soluble, low odor, very low
toxicity, etc, which are a pleasure to work with.
The one we use currently ( believe me, I've tried them all) is a
Ruslick product (1066)) purchased from Fusco. I'm sure that Salem,
Universal, etc., stock similar products
