Re: ATM removing a siliconed secondary




Here's another idea that you might try and might be easier to find. If you
don't have piano wire or picture frame wire handy, try an electric guitar
string, specifically the #1 string (high 'e').  You should be able to buy an
individual string at about any musical instrument store for about $1.  If
memory serves me correctly, the high 'e' is generally in the 0.010" range.

While you are at it, take a look at the heavier gauge strings. Since I've
never done this, perhaps there is a better choice that the high 'e.'
