Re: ATM Covering For Truss Tubes
Bill,
Without knowing the diameter of the tubes I don't know if this idea will
work or not, but here goes.
I've successfully used shower curtain rod covers. They are available in
lots of colors, are fairly cheap, and they stand up to the cold without
cracking, but buy the non-gloss ones if you can find them (less shiny).
Installation is easy. They just slide on!
This is a fairly natural choice of finishing truss tubes for me, since I use
aluminum shower curtain rods for my truss tubes...
Another idea that I haven't tried is to use self adhesive vinyl (mac-tac is
one brand) to cover the tubes (more work than the above method for sure)!
And I've no idea how it reacts to the cold or dew or sunlight.
