I along with many others on this list would appreciate list members
following
some netiquette to make everybodies life on this list easier.

Some common follies are:

1. Reposting an entire message just to add a couple of lines of comments.
Trim
the message to just the relevant lines.  Most readers will already have
read the
original post if they were intersested in the thread.  Some of us have very
poor
internet access and have difficulty handling the volume of mail.

I also imagine the digest readers get pretty sick of reading the same stuff
over and over just to glean those extra couple of lines added.

2. Understand that the world is not all Microsoft and thusly does not
necessarily
understand HTML encoded mail or even handle images.  Turn off the HTML
encoding of you email package.

3. Try not to post images to the mailing list.  If you really want it seen
put it on a
web page and post the URL to the mailing list.  There are even free web
page
hosts such as www.tripod.com so you don;t even need your own internet
account just access to the web (perhaps through your local library).  Think
also about the size of the image a 100K Jpeg getting posted to what 800
list
members (just a guess) means you have just sent out 80 Meg of data over the
internet
(no wonder it runs slow :()
