ATM Soap on CeO and TDE

    After about 30 minutes polishing , just after grit 3000, I use to check
the Ronchi bands to see the first results on mirror's surface . 
    Today , after 3 trials that resulted with an early huge TDE, I decided
to add four drops of kitchen liquid soap on my 5 cm3 water/CeO mix. Bingo !
Almost perfect bands up to the edge ! 
    It seems that TDE was caused by excessive evaporation on mirror's edge
while polishing (MOT) due to the hot summer we're having here in Rio. Adding
soap, the mix still wet for a longer time .
    I am polishing a 39 cm mirror 20 mm thick plate glass and I suppose the
same effect would happen in minor scale with Pirex glass.
