Good point.  I was more thinkingg of the complexity (hate it when
I have to do something in a more complex way than the simple
straightforward way) of having to make something like that.  I
also don't like the way that film never seems to make a good
straight line as the grains of the silver are never in a
perfectly straight line.  Printers do do this a bit better but
then you still tend to have single dots in a row with them rather
thana nece smooth edge which is straight.
Then there is always just the taping or gluing of the wire, hair,
etc. to a clear glass slide as something quicker to do.  Then
again, I've got a lot of slide covers flowating around the house.
