Re: [ATM] soldering SMPs

Dominic,

Beyond the hot gun, soldering iron and toaster oven (for BGA
components), there is a set of boards specifically designed to make it
easier to hand-solder SMT components. Its called "Schmartboard" (www.schmartboard.com
). I've never used it (nor am I affiliated with it), so I can't tell
you how well it works. But it's intriguing enough that I was going to
try it on my next project. There is also a Yahoo group (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/schmartboardsv
) where you can ask questions of users.
