Thank you for your thoughts.
My position is that Telescope Making has always been a field with numerous
different theories and levels of competence. I'll post anything that comes
along and let the rating system of You Tube do the dirty work.
We are fortunate to have such a vehicle available, previous generations of
telescope makers did not.
If you have a copy of ATM #3, please read the article by Burch on page 65
relating to pinhole size. If you do the math and look at the sudden change
of units from English to metric, you'll see what I mean. This is generally
considered to be an authoritative publication, but not all articles which
were published are correct. Indeed some are simply nutty, but someone who is
unfamiliar with math might not understand the problem. The ability to engage
in civil discourse with others concerning various theories should eb
sufficient to weed out the pseudoscience and alchemy from the real science.
