Hi,

I don't know if this can help but there are a number of free java applets
that will probably run under linux.
http://members.kabsi.at/i.krastev/jodas/index.html

It looks like the applets can be download into a folder,  there is a web
page you can click on in the folder that should startup the applet.

You may be able to contact the author concerning this..
