Thread-topic: Lap question

I have a lap that has been stored for a few months that I am ready to start using again, but I noticed that a few facets have ~1/8" indentations from the wrinkled aluminum foil that was covering it (it gets fairly warm in my house during the summer).  I am done polishing and working on figuring the mirror.  I think that the indentations are too deep to press out.  Should I be concerned about these deformities?
