Re: [ATM] Bearing brakes
I would make washers out of Teflon and use thumbscrews at the pivot joints that push on the washers. Started to make one like that but never finished it.

I'm in the middle of building a parralellogram mount for my 20x80 bino's
I'm looking for ideas on applying stiction brakes to the various pivot
points. And are looking for any inovative ideas that folks like you guy's
come up with : ))) and are willing to share. Even if you have an idea
no usually suited for this purpose but could be adapted to suit.
For the main arm, I've been thinking of using a small snatch block on
the bino end of the main arm with a wire running from the base post
out the the snatch block and back again. And apply a brake to the snatch
block.
