Re: [ATM] I need some info on the hot wire foucault test.
Hi Richard,
Sure does gives me something to chase down, might even give me an excuse to
buy another book or two!
I forgot to mention what books I do have....
Tex: How to make a telescope. (in storage)
The three ATM books the maroon ones from will-bell (in storage)
ATMT both volumes, the blue ones (in storage) <- I recall seeing something
in one of these about this test, so I'm off to the storage locker in the
morning!
And a small host of optical theory books (about 10 or 12) but they deal more
with the theory than the practice of optics if you get my meaning! (in
storage, mostly)
I also have about 14' of 0.01mm platinum wire!
Thomas.

Don't know if this is useful to you or not: S&T, Feb 1963,
p. 114; author: Robert E. Cox, "The Hot-wire Focoult Test"
in "Gleanings for ATMs".
