[ATM] Procured Sky Micro Focuser

To the ATM group:

I recently procured a vingate Sky Micro Focuser
(1.25"), manufactured by Telescopics many years ago,
on eBay.
It is in superb condition, and this ends several years

of searching for one.  It actually still has the
Telescopics label on the focuser shaft.  It's a very
interesting mechanism, and I've downloaded the patent
application from the USPTO (circa 1959-1962)
[#3,051,045] for details of the design.  It looks to
be very well made; quite heavy, though, and not nearly
as smooth operating as modern devices.
