For me, furniture is made of wood. I love the look of wood OTAs and that's
what I make. You can always add wonderful brass trim. This is a heavy
arrangement, but very attractive. You can also make attractive mounts and
not stay with the stodgy (yet highly functional) Dob mount. But then again,
you have to strike a balance between form and function.

Brass won't help you there Dan, it's one of the heavier metals in common
use. It's denser than steel or iron.
