Scott is correct. From the perspective of the light, it's travel here is 
instantaneous as it is traveling at the speed of light. However since we 
are not traveling at the speed of light relative to the photons from 
3C273, then it takes however many light years away it originated from in 
years to get here. When traveling at exactly the speed of light, the 
equations point to time not existing. So for the photon, it got here at 
the same time it got anywhere. Odd, I know but so far Einstein has held 
up amazingly well... the GPS in your car proves it.
