You don't show what back support you use, but if the mirror rests on one peg 
near the front edge and also at the top of the backside, this is what one 
would expect - I think. With a floating cell or one point supporting the 
center of the back of the mirror, I expect the potato-chipping would be much 
less. Or do I misinterpret those images?
