[ATM] 8" Diagonal- More info
Shane,
The pixel match is as you say .71 arcsec/pix for 1x1 binning.
It goes to 1.42 for 2x2 binning and 2.13 for 3x3 binning.
I have not aquired this camera yet, but it's 11 million pixels
allow me to match my seeing conditions via binning.
Only on rare nights will I be able to use no binning.
At least this camera gives me some options. My other choice
of camera would be a STL-1001. I just have not given
the cameras much thought yet. I know my focal legnth
is a good match for many of the cameras out there.
When scoped is ready for camera, I will see what is
available and look at different manufacturers.
I did hold as a requirement in my design the ability
to fully illuminate a 35mm size field with only a few percent
vignetting. I do not know what the future of cameras holds,
but the way electronics is going, I want to be prepared.
Phillip Keller did a fine job designing the 4"
corrector. I have spot diagrams, if you would like, I could
privately e-mail them to you.
