Hi guys!
I guess the conclusion of my mathematical tinkering has lead
me to the Ronchi test and generally not much else until
starlight strikes the surface. I simplify, I round off numbers
to values I can remember and maybe work in my head, etc. Mel did
not comment more on this point on polishing, but I have at times
wondered, with all this testing fussiness, does anyone else here
test for reflectivity of the final surface? I guess this is largely
directed to Mel since he is involved with teaching.
