Re: [ATM] Another flat-field anastigmatic aplant
I looked at the first design for a narrow FOV system (.3deg.
diameter FOV) and found that it uses a nice little secondary of
80mm and a hole of the sam size. ONe thing that will help the
system is an aperture ringabout 200mm from the primary to block
off rays that are trying to get around the secondary. This
appears to be an excellent place to put the mask as the rays are
just coming off from the secondary, expanding to go to the
tertiary while the mask isn't that far from the primary to make
primary aperture obscured by the mask.
It looks like a nicce design to do for planetary work and placing
the diagonal flat in the output beam will allow the head to be
right behind the primary where it will be an interesting
location, easy to get access to.
