Re: [ATM] North pole drift
Somehow I don't think that it will be as big a deal as they are making
out...
The North pole is still quite a bit east of Alaska, and even if it moves
to Siberia Alaska will still be in the almost constant auroral oval.
It will affect those of us who are east of the current pole.
But as they mention in the article they do not know how much longer it
will continue to head towards Siberia.
They also mention that the earths magnetic field has dropped by 10% in
the last century, that will have an equal impact on how and where the
aurora is viewed.
