Sounds like a cool project but what advantages will it bring to smaller,
say less than 1 meter telescopes?.  How about software development 
to control this sucker?  
I think the Eq mount will still remain the dominant mount for the future 
with the Split Ring being one of the very best for larger scopes, and
mounts like the Paramount handling all the smaller ota's up to 150#.
