I've played with the upgraded pringle can (cantenna), the Bi-quad and small co-linear.

Either of the first two will do the job.   Watch the coax, you need good stuff even if you only go 10ft.  We tested the Bi-quad and it came in close to 15db gain (32x ).  Just 1 should do it, but one at each end should give you a mile or so...

I'm sort of looking for a 4' plus dish for a remote site :-)
