I have posted a new picture at the above location.  The last one of the
five is the most current.  It shows that I have reduced the edge artifact
to about 1/2 inch by 3 inches.  I had to go back and do two hours of 220
grind to get that done.  This image is after 30 minutes of 320 grit. 
Looking at the surface with a lens, I probably have another hour of 320
before I can move on.
