Re: [ATM] Are these kits good? & Refractor Kits

Thanks Richard. I had a bunch of distractions in the room when I was
looking at that video. I didn't know Mr. Parker had given the designs.

I'm less confused.

IIRC, Mr. Parker mentioned that his lens design was adapted from the
Baker article by Mr. Mullett. That's what I called the "Mullett"
design. I stuck the OSLO file at:

I also stuck the blue-shifted design at:

In the talk, Mr. Parker gave the original Newport prescription.
I stuck an OSLO file for it at:

Yes, they moved that chapter into volume 2 in the newer editions. I know
there are some out there that still have that old Bausch & Lomb glass
(the crown, anyway), so I established a Cauchy/Laurent series for the
flint to look at the design. Given how close those glasses would seem
to be like BK7/F2, I'm a tad surprised it beats them so well.

Mine was only worn out until I finished the software for it. Now, I
pretty much exclusively use the design tool (even over ZEMAX and OSLO)
to design doublets, but use the "higher power" tools for analysis.
