[ATM] Winter at the scope werks
It is that time of the year when the days get short, the werks gets cold
and the holiday season gets in the mix. It gets hard to do much work out
in the shop as there is no heat out there. It gets dark and I can hear the
recliner calling from the house. sigh, winter at the scope werks.
I have had a couple of visitors the last few days and got them to push
some on the 15.5. It was great to have the company, makes it easier to
stay focused. I laid the big mirrors down for a while and have been
working on a few pie plates I promised last summer. Such are the benefits
of several projects at once. It is a whole different grind working on a
pie plate. Two are in the polish stage, one is just working it's way up
through the grits.
It is raining like the heavens have sprung a major leak. Cows and flat
rocks come to mind. I need to get the CD player and some music back out
here.
I have a couple of finished mirrors that I received as nearly finished,
that I am thinking of flexing. A nice little 4.5 kit that is going to a
budding ATM in Alaska is also on the list of to do's.
And it is dark already. Not star dark, but rainy, cold, damp cup o' tea
dark. With the wind whistling through my determination and making it all
rainy, cold and damp.
It must be time for bed.
