Re: [ATM] RE: What adhesive for tiles on a plaster tool?

The thing with plaster tools is that you can make them in an hour or so and
be grinding by that time. The tools are naturally curved by the casting
against the spherical hole (spherical is taken liberally here) or mound of
the glass to be ground by the tool without a lot of time to form the tool
against the glass. At 320 grit, it takes me about 1 hour of good grinding
to fully form a tool against the glass, at which time, the diamond tool
marks are off of the glass and all is fitted well.
Tile tools are not intended for grinding holes into the glass as they don't
have that much thickness of the hard tiles to do the roughing work to get
the hole in the glass.
